Eternal is a barber-pole flanger for KORG prologue, minilogue xd, NTS-1, NTS-1 mkII, NTS-3 and microKORG2. Unlike a traditional flanger which has its tone repeatedly go up and down, a barber-pole flanger reproduces an illusion of going upwards or downwards in a seemingly endless fashion. To accomplish this unique effect, Eternal employs three flanger layers which are swept and blended via six synchronized modulation generators. These generators also have a “through-zero phase” design, which means the effect can go from downwards to upwards motion – and back – completely seamlessly.
